How to type in different fonts on iPhone

You can send bubble, bold sans, italic, script, double-struck, monospace, fraktur, squared, small caps, upside-down, and a few others as Unicode. Recipients do not install anything.

You cannot change the system San Francisco font in Messages with a keyboard. BubbleText ships the looks that work everywhere. Four styles are free. The Font Pack, bundle, or Pro unlocks all 24.

Updated 14 September 2026: There are 24 aesthetic Unicode styles, not 100 fonts. Some apps strip them. VoiceOver can be worse with styled characters. See Unicode styles vs real iPhone fonts.
