Why tabs
Most map apps close what you were looking at when you search again. Map Tabs keeps a trip, a saved list, and directions in separate tabs. The map is Apple MapKit. Google ratings load only when you open a place card.

FAQ
Do I need an account?
No. Map Tabs has no account and no sign-in.
Does Map Tabs need my location?
Location is optional. The map still works if you deny it. Precise location is used on the device for the blue dot, nearby search bias, and directions from Current Location (“from here”).
When do Google ratings load?
Only when you open a place card. That request can include a place identifier or name, and may include coarse location. It is for showing ratings (App Functionality), not advertising. Free includes 30 loads per month.
Where do recents and saved places live?
Place IDs, labels, notes, recent picks, and saved places stay on your device. We do not upload your saved lists to Smorgi servers.
How do I restore Lifetime Pro?
Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchase. Apple StoreKit handles the purchase. Refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Location: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Map Tabs → While Using. Needed for Current Location and nearby search; the map works without it.
