AlterEgo - AI Keyboard
Type as any persona
Pick an alter ego at the top of the keyboard and watch your message rewrite in that voice — slang, tone, and all.
Free with 5 rewrites a day
What it does
250+ alter egos
Eight categories: classics, superheroes, sci-fi, fantasy, sports, pop culture, lifestyle, and regional.
Context-aware rewrites
The model keeps your meaning and changes the voice, not just the adjectives.
Dial it up or back
Retry with Dial Up, Dial Back, or New Angle when the first take is not quite right.
Works anywhere you type

Formerly CharacterAI
Older pages and an old URL called this CharacterAI Keyboard. The live App Store name is AlterEgo. /apps/characterai/ now points here.
Free includes 5 starter characters and 5 rewrites a day. Pro unlocks 250+ characters across eight categories.
Privacy
No account. Only the text you submit for a rewrite leaves the device, via our proxy. Typing history stays local.
