Create
Describe a game. Play it. Publish it.
The Create portal starts with one question: “What game do you want to make?” You do not need to learn an engine. Sign in, and the AI builds the changes. Every new account starts with $2 of free AI credit.
Start from an idea
PLAY recommends a starting template with simple word matching, so that step costs nothing. You can also pick another template, start from a game worth remixing, or start from scratch. Every template and game can be played full screen before you choose.
Six templates
Blank 3D, Coin Run, Night Lab (stealth), Side Hop (2D), Maze Dash, and Room Rush (top-down). They cover the common shapes. You are looking at a real game, not a blank screen.
Chat, then play the change
There is no code editor. You write plain requests and tap suggestions. The AI builds the change, then play-tests it with real controls and looks at screenshots before it says it is done. You see an estimate before each change and the exact cost after it.
Two models
PLAY uses Claude by Anthropic. Claude Sonnet 5.5 is the default: faster and cheaper. Claude Opus 5.5 is the stronger model for bigger changes. You pay for power only when you need it. Anthropic does not endorse, partner with, or sponsor PLAY.
What the AI costs
You see an estimate before each change and the exact cost after it. Price is the AI cost plus 30%. There is no fixed price per game. Costs depend on the change and the model.
Every new signed-in account gets $2 of free AI credit to start. After that, each change costs money. Big changes take time. AI is not free.
Questions
Do I need to code?
No. You describe what you want in plain words. There is no code editor to learn. The AI writes real code. PLAY just hides it. It will not make any game in seconds.
How do I know the change works?
Before it says it is done, the AI plays your game with real controls and checks screenshots of the result.
Which AI does PLAY use?
Claude by Anthropic: Claude Sonnet 5.5 by default, or Claude Opus 5.5 for bigger changes.
