Why BubbleText is not an AI keyboard

Updated 14 September 2026: Still true in 2.3. Style Mixer, photo keys, kaomoji, and Quick Phrases are local style tools — not sentence rewrite.

A draft of BubbleText had an OpenAI path in the extension. That was the wrong product. 2.2 work ripped it out. Autocorrect is local.

If you want AI, install mindfulAI. If you want bubbles, stay here. Mixing those jobs made the keyboard heavier and easier to crash.
