Terms of Service — Smorgi Challenge

These terms are between you and Pinewood Creations LLC (“Smorgi Apps”) for the Smorgi Challenge iOS app. Using the app means you agree. Studio-wide terms also live at smorgiapps.com/terms. If a consumer-protection rule in your region requires a different result, that rule wins. Questions: hello@smorgiapps.com.

License

Smorgi Challenge is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. The app requires iOS 26.2 or later. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app.

Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA) also applies. In-App Purchases are subject to Apple’s terms.

Acceptable use

Do not harass other players. Do not illegally record other people. Do not abuse invite links or public lobbies. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules or the law.

Alarms, Critical Alerts, and safety

Alarms and Critical Alerts can interrupt Focus modes if you grant those permissions. You decide whether to grant or deny AlarmKit, notifications, and Critical Alerts. Do not play while driving or in any unsafe situation. Physical dares are your responsibility. Play somewhere safe.

Coins

Coins are a licensed in-app currency. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for money. They are not refundable except as Apple requires. Packs are sold as consumable In-App Purchases (60 / 200 / 500).

Subscriptions

Smorgi Premium is an auto-renewing Apple subscription (weekly, monthly, yearly). The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in Apple subscriptions at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in the App Store. Apple bills you. Refunds go through Apple.

User content

You may set a display name, record custom sounds, and take photos for tasks. You keep that content. You grant Pinewood Creations LLC a limited license to host and deliver it so the game can be played with the people in your session. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

Termination and account deletion

You may delete your account in Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@smorgiapps.com. We may terminate access if you break these terms. License to use the app ends if the account is deleted or we withdraw the app.

Disclaimer

Smorgi Challenge is provided “as is.” Alarms can fail because of iOS limits, a force-quit app, denied permissions, Focus modes, network loss, or a dead battery. We do not warrant uninterrupted play.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Pinewood Creations LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including missed alarms or dares. Our total liability for Smorgi Challenge is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the last twelve months, or to the amount the studio terms allow, whichever applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in California, unless a consumer-protection law in your region says otherwise. That is the same jurisdiction as the studio terms.
