What the app is
Smorgi Challenge is a multiplayer alarm party game for iPhone. You create or join sessions such as Chaos Drop, Hot Potato, Practice Solo, and public Live Now games. Random alarms deliver group dares. It is a game-night icebreaker, not a wake-up clock.
Account and profile
You sign in with Sign in with Apple. A limited email/password path exists so App Review can test the app. We store a profile (username, display name), friend relationships, game memberships, a device push token, and game state on Supabase in a project we host. We use that data to run multiplayer games, restore your session, and deliver alarms and pings.
Purchases
Purchases are Apple In-App Purchase only (StoreKit 2). Apple processes payment. We do not receive full card numbers.
- Subscriptions: Smorgi Premium weekly, monthly, and yearly. The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial.
- Consumable coins: packs of 60, 200, and 500.
We store a coin ledger and a premium entitlement so the game can unlock features and spend coins. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Notifications, AlarmKit, Critical Alerts, and APNs
We store a device push token (APNs) to deliver game alarms, pings, start reminders, and optional marketing or reminder pushes. You can disable reminder and marketing notifications in Settings (game reminder opt-out). AlarmKit and Critical Alerts can interrupt Focus modes if you grant those permissions. You can deny or later revoke them in iOS Settings.
Camera, microphone, and motion
Some challenge types use the camera, microphone, or motion sensors on your device — for example photo tasks, spoken or sound tasks, and shake or step counts. That capture is for playing the task. We do not run an advertising SDK. Custom alarm recordings are for your alarms and for friends in a game. We do not host a public library of user alarm recordings, and we do not sell them.
Analytics and ads
We log first-party events in our database so we can operate the game (for example app_open, session_created, invite_sent). There is no third-party analytics SDK, no IDFA, no fingerprinting, and no behavioral ads.

Public and Live Now games
If you join a session or a public lobby, your display name and the fact that you are in that game can be visible to other players in that session or lobby.
Account deletion
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. That path removes the auth user and associated profile data via our delete_account flow. Some aggregated or anonymous game history, and purchase records Apple or the law requires us to keep, may remain. If deletion fails, email support@smorgiapps.com.
Children
Smorgi Challenge is not designed for children under 13. It is not Made for Kids.

We use:
- AWS for this website
- Supabase for API, auth, and the game database
- Apple for Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase, and APNs. Game Center is unused in version 2.1.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Smorgi Challenge data for third-party advertising.
