Unicode styles vs real iPhone fonts
A third-party iPhone keyboard cannot install San Francisco’s replacement into Messages. What it can do is insert characters that already look like another alphabet: circled letters, mathematical bold, script, fraktur, full-width, upside-down substitutions.
That is what Beautiful BubbleText Keyboard does. The 24 looks are Unicode styles, not installed fonts. Recipients do not download a TTF. Instagram bios and many text fields accept them because those fields are plain text. Some apps strip unusual characters. VoiceOver can be worse — a “cute” bio can become unreadable.
We used to let older pages imply “100+ fonts.” That was wrong. There are 24 aesthetic Unicode styles. Four are free: Bubble, Autumn Script, Harvest Outline, Cozy Caps. The rest unlock with the Font Pack, the Color+Font bundle, Color Pack (legacy font access), or Pro.
The 24 names
Free: Bubble, Autumn Script, Harvest Outline, Cozy Caps.
Paid: Bubble Filled, Bold, Italic, Bold Italic, Clean Sans, Bold Sans, Italic Sans, Bold Italic Sans, Script, Fraktur, Bold Fraktur, Typewriter, Vaporwave, Squared, Squared Filled, Parenthesized, Tiny, Upside Down, Strikethrough, Underline.
If a field rejects them, try Notes or Messages first. Keep a plain-text version of your name for accessibility.
