Quotags 2.0 returns to the App Store

Smorgi Apps today released Quotags 2.0 on the Apple App Store. The update is a full rebuild of the quotes app that first shipped in March 2013, published on the original listing (Apple ID 609422978).

Quotags is a social app for quotes. A user captures a line, styles it as a quote card, and can share it, follow other people, or keep it in a private Quotebook on the device. Version 2.0 requires iOS 17 and is free to download. Optional credits for AI photo styling and postcards are sold in the app.

The 2.0 release includes:

• Redesigned Feed and Discover with quote-card images
• A post flow with photo styling and layout tools
• Guest private Quotebook — save quotes on device without an account
• Profiles, follows, comments, and report/block tools
• House accounts posting classic quotes

The old 2013 binary does not talk to the new backend. People who still have that build should update from the App Store.
